J im Bratton, Pembroke '52, a native of Decherd, Tennessee, is Of Counsel to the Atlanta law firm Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP, where he practiced complex civil litigation for many years. Jim is a Graduate of the University of the South and Yale Law School, and was a Fulbright Scholar at Pembroke, where he read law, was president of the Johnson Society and rowed for College. Jim was founding chairman of the State Bar of Georgia Environmental Law Section, and has served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Emory Law School and the University of Georgia Law School.
Jim and his wife, Alleen, live in Atlanta.
